HR Manager

What You Will Do

1. HR Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute a local HR strategy that aligns with enterprise priorities and creates long-term value.
  • Foster a strong PBM culture by helping leaders and employees apply PBM principles in daily decisions and practices.
  • Equip managers with tools and insights for organisational planning, change management, and workforce development.
  • Champion initiatives that strengthen diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement.

2. Recruitment & Talent Management

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment with a focus on attracting talent that shares our values and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Partner with hiring managers to ensure transparent, principled, and efficient hiring decisions.
  • Deliver onboarding experiences that accelerate contribution and cultural integration, reinforcing PBM principles from day one.
  • Lead talent management initiatives that support succession planning and optimise the development of high potential employees internally.

3. Employee Relations & Wellbeing

  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees and leaders, fostering open dialogue and principled conflict resolution.
  • Address performance and behavioural matters with fairness and respect, guided by PBM principles.
  • Promote wellbeing and work–life balance through proactive initiatives that create mutual benefit.

4. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure HR processes meet Finnish labour legislation, collective agreements (TES), GDPR, and health and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate policies, records, and reporting to support sound decision-making and transparency.
  • Oversee payroll inputs and collaborate with providers for timely, accurate delivery.
  • Facilitate career progression and succession planning to strengthen organisational resilience and comparative advantage.

5. Compensation & Benefits

  • Lead the application of our PBM compensation philosophy ensuring that our practices align with our culture of total compensation for total contribution.
  • Administer benefits programmes and partner with occupational health providers to enhance employee wellbeing.

 

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Demonstrated HR experience, ideally in a generalist or HR manager role in Finland.
  • Strong knowledge of Finnish labour laws, collective agreements, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in Finnish and English.

  • Experience in an international or matrix organisation.
  • Background in supporting organisational change and growth.
