What You Will Do
Leadership
- Direct and steer both direct and matrix Plant Management Team members and maintain partnerships to achieve a set goal
- Define, monitor, cascade and manage facility KPI´s
- Establish and live an operational excellence culture driving continuous improvement with the most efficient use of materials, machines, and people
- Create a culture focused on the customer, quality, teamwork, safety, environmental responsibility, and innovation
- Influence effectively across, above, and below, utilizing strong communication skills, including fact-based persuasion, and listening
- Promote and demonstrate community involvement, maintain strong relationships with local government bodies
- Attract, mentor, and develop talent, promoting MBM philosophy
- Comply with the company core values PBM
Facility operations
- Ensure alignment of all activities, plans and goals with Corporate strategy and priorities
- Oversee production operations, project management, manufacturing engineering, maintenance, tool repair, plant controlling, scheduling and release of material, quality, safety, quality systems, and personnel directly related to the site
- Ensure on-time product delivery and the highest standards of product quality
- Work closely together with the with the functional EU leads, program and engineering managers and the other European Plant General Managers
- Enhance awareness of EHS
Quality
- Create, stimulate, and maintain a quality awareness culture in all layers of the organization
- Ensure quality system remains compliant, effective, and efficient while meeting quality regulations and customer quality system requirements
- Effectively uses the UQMS to improve the overall operations
- Work according to US FDA 21 CFR 820.30, ISO 13485, ISO 15378 standards and raise the common sense of ISO rules and policies.
- Execute policies and procedures according to the Uniform Quality Management System
- Customer relations
- Develop and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with existing customers
- Initiate improvement of service and performance to customer expectations
- Seek opportunities to grow revenue
- Set a tone of respect, ethics, and commitment, both within the facility and in all external interactions in line with the farming role
Finance & Reporting
- Create vision, strategic plan, including budgets and appropriate innovation and investment
- Ensure execution of agreed budget
- Establish internal controls and actively support and comply with reporting requirements and IT
- Maintain and execute action plans
- Maintaining and promoting good suggestion programs
- Ensure spread of updated communication of results to each Management Team member
- Propose and execute CAPEX, CIP projects and plans
Others
- Promoting, expecting, and applying in practice PBM rules.
- Segregating wastes systematically, minimizing the use of materials
- Compliance with the environment, health, safety and fire regulation, procedures, and instructions.
- Adherence to documentation related to Quality Management System.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Experience in construction, maintenance, and all facets of facility operation. Ideally candidate should have experience in facility specification development including cleanroom manufacture, implementation and running.
Knowledge
- Strong working knowledge of operations, quality, and supply chain management with an understanding of finance.
- English & Finnish Fluency.
- Knowledge of ERP programs (SAP), very good knowledge of MS Office application (Word, Power Point, Excel)
